Spiritual Guidance Training Program
The Spiritual Guidance Training Program at Siena Retreat Center is available to those who sense a call to spiritual guidance ministry and who wish to explore that call, engage in personal spiritual growth, and enhance the knowledge and skills needed. The program meets eight times per year over two years.
Siena Retreat Center’s Spiritual Guidance Training Program (training for spiritual direction or spiritual companioning) provides spiritual enrichment content, skills-building, and opportunities for personal reflection and growth.

Institute for Spiritual Guidance
In response to the need for continuing education and growth of spiritual guides, Siena Retreat Center is pleased to offer the Institute for Spiritual Guidance. The Institute offers workshops that create opportunities for guides to learn and further integrate the art and skill of companioning another person.

Honoring Grief…Intending to Heal
This is a condensed, intensive, basic training program for those who wish to companion the bereaved individually, as a facilitator of a grief support group, and/or within a bereavement outreach program. This program is also designed for those who currently serve in these roles and who wish to ‘hone’ their skills. The program meets over five Saturdays.
