Siena Retreat Center welcomes a variety of groups and facilitators who bring retreats, workshops, and programs to our campus. The events featured on this page are open enrollment opportunities offered by groups who are utilizing Siena Retreat Center’s spaces and hospitality for their own programs. We share these upcoming hosted retreats as a resource for individuals looking for additional opportunities to gather, learn, reflect, and renew within our wider community!
What is the difference between a Hosted Retreat and a Sponsored Retreat?
Sponsored Retreats
- Organized and led by Siena Retreat Center staff and contracted facilitators
- All aspects of registration and retreat logistics are managed by Siena Retreat Center
- Curated around Siena Retreat Center’s core retreat themes
- Open registration to the general public
Hosted Retreats
- Organized and led by an outside facilitator or organization
- Program content and registration are managed by the retreat organizer
- Siena Retreat Center provides the space and hospitality
- May be open for registration to the general public or restricted to the group’s own community
Join the Program
We thoughtfully welcome Hosted Groups whose programs align with Siena Retreat Center’s mission and values. As we launch this new Co-Marketing Plan as a pilot program, participation will initially be limited to a select number of Hosted Groups. This is simply part of our approach to testing and developing the program and is not a reflection of the value or quality of any group or program.

New Hosted Groups
If you are considering bringing a group to Siena Retreat Center for the first time, please begin by exploring our “Bring a Group” webpage where you can connect with our Arrangements Coordinator, Jessica, to get your retreat booked. Once your deposit has been paid, your group may be eligible to participate in the Co-Marketing Plan.

We are coming to understand our culture has been wrong about grief. That it needs to be shared. And that we need each other to help care for it. Community Grief Ritual is one powerful step towards each other. It’s one powerful step towards our aliveness, our joy. Because to suppress any feeling is to suppress all feeling!! To welcome our grief is to welcome our joy, aliveness, and the full range of human expression. Francis Weller, a well-known grief ritual facilitator, author, and therapist, says we go to grief ritual to make our hearts more spacious, more capable of falling in love with the world. Come, let us fall more in love with the world together.
