Overview

A Restorative Weekend Retreat for Women Inspired by St. Hildegard of Bingen

Description
With St. Hildegard (1098-1179) as our guide, we will enter an ancient sacred garden of love and wisdom, where we will be nourished by songs of heart, including selections from Hildegard’s powerful music received from the “living light.” We will also explore Hildegard’s art, holistic medicine, and profound spiritual teachings to cultivate this generative garden of timeless love.

Some of the women on this retreat have been participating for several years, some are coming for the first time. All are warmly welcomed and valued. All you need is an open and willing heart.

Friday, August 2, to Sunday, August 4, 2024
The retreat begins at 2:00pm on Friday and concludes with the noon meal on Sunday.
Cost of $550 includes overnight accommodations and meals.

Please pay in full or select the $85 non-refundable deposit option with the remaining balance of $465 due on or before arrival.

About the Facilitators

Susan Lincoln

Susan Lincoln is an inspiring classical singer and teacher from Austin, Texas. After a 1999 pivotal experience at the Abbey of St. Hildegard of Bingen in Germany, Susan made a commitment to helping women heal through the power of their own voices with Hildegard as our guide. She is the founder of Hilde Girls in Austin, now celebrating 20 wonderful years! Susan has an exuberant spirit, passionate curiosity, empathic heart, and two precious granddaughters who keep her young at heart! Born and raised in Davenport, Iowa, she is grateful to be “returning home" to the Midwest for this retreat.
