Description
Telling My Story: The River of Life is an immersive, day-long workshop that invites participants to explore their life journey through the powerful metaphor of a flowing river. Through guided reflection, creative expression, and meaningful sharing, you’ll have the opportunity to visualize your personal narrative-where you’ve been, who you’ve become, and where you might be flowing next.
Our lives rarely follow a straight line. Like rivers, they meander, encounter obstacles, gather tributaries of influence, experience periods of turbulence and calm, and sometimes take unexpected turns. The River of Life is a visual narrative tool that helps us make meaning of these journeys and recognize the patterns, influences, and decisive moments that have shaped who we are today.
This workshop is for:
- Individuals at transition points seeking clarity about their path forward;
- Those navigating significant change who want to integrate past experiences with new directions;
- People seeking deeper self-understanding and narrative coherence;
- Anyone wanting to honor their journey and the experiences that have shaped them;
What to bring:
- A journal or notebook, favorite handwriting tool;
- Comfortable clothing;
- Any personal items you’d like to have nearby during reflection;
- Optional: photos or small mementos that represent important life moments;
