Description
Join the Siena community for the Latin American tradition of Las Posadas which recalls the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and their search for shelter. The evening will include an indoor procession, singing in Spanish and English, brief reflections on various dimensions of refugee justice, and a festive gathering with light refreshments.

This is a free-will offering retreat, co-sponsored by the Racine Dominican Justice Office.

Claire Anderson holds a master’s degree in European History from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and a Doctorate in Ministry from the Catholic Theological Union (Chicago). A fourth-generation Polish American, she has visited Poland several times and is the author of Seasons of the Slavic Soul: A Quest for an Authentic Polish Spirituality, published by ACTA in 2017.
