Overview

Description
This series explores the spiritual wisdom that Howard Thurman preached, emphasizing that the most important place to sense God’s presence is within each of us. Howard Thurman (1899-1981) was one of the leading religious thinkers of 20th century America, a mentor to Martin Luther King, Jr. and other leaders of the civil rights movement. He was personally engaged in public life and mentored many to choose to be grounded in the God within.  Dr. Otis Moss III will draw from the book: Howard Thurman – The Inner Life and Social Responsibility, edited by  Walter Earl Fluker and Peter Eisenstadt.
