Overview

Description
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a German Lutheran pastor, neo-orthodox theologian and a key founding member of the Confessing Church. Apart from his theological writings, Bonhoeffer was known for his staunch resistance to the Nazi dictatorship.  He was imprisoned in a concentration camp and later hanged, accused of being involved with a plot to assassinate Hitler. This series will explore the complexity of his witness and choices in the political crisis of emerging White Nationalism.

This three-part Zoom series will cover:
November 4 – The Bonhoeffers and Who They Were in Their Community
November 11 – The Fascist Movement in Germany
November 18 – Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Complicated Christian Response
