If coming by car:

     Using GPS?  Enter 5637 Erie St., Racine, WI, as the address.

From Milwaukee or Madison area:  Note: Hwy 32 is now open.
Take the Hwy 100 (Ryan Rd) exit off I-94. Head east until Hwy 100 dead-ends at Hwy 32.Turn Right on Hwy 32, which becomes Douglas Ave. Turn Left at 4-Mile Rd. (stop light) and then Left at Erie St. (stop sign). Turn Right at the Siena on the Lake sign. Retreat parking is on the left.

From Chicago Area:
Exit I-94 at Hwy 20; RIGHT onto Hwy 20 and continue east on Hwy 20; Hwy 20 becomes Washington Ave.  Continue to Hwy 31 (about 5.5 mi); turn LEFT onto Hwy 31 . Continue to 4-Mile Rd (about 4.7 mi) and turn RIGHT onto Four Mile Rd.  Continue to Erie Street (2.6 mi) and turn LEFT onto Erie Street to SIENA CENTER  (0.7 mi). Driveway on right.  Check for the latest information on road closures.
SPECIAL NOTICE: Many people have indicated that the construction on I-94 is creating a lot of delays so you may want to consider exiting at Hwy 50 in Kenosha County during the busiest times of day. Come east on Hwy 50 to Hwy 31 and then turn left (North) on Hwy 31 and stay on Hwy 31 until you reach 4-Mile Rd.  Then follow the directions as above.  There are more stops following Hwy 31 but it may still be quicker during some times of the day. For those who like to exit I-94 at 4-Mile Rd, we understand it is closed from the interstate.

From Kenosha:
Come north on Sheridan Rd/Hwy 32. Turn RIGHT at 14th Street and continue straight until 14th Street dead ends at the lake (0.6mi). Turn LEFT on Main Street. Continue on Main Street until it dead ends at 4-Mile Road (4.8mi). Turn left on 4-Mile Road and continue to Erie Street (0.2mi). Turn RIGHT onto Erie and continue to SIENA CENTER (0.7mi). Driveway on right.

There is limited taxi service in Racine, though Uber and Lyft are now available in Racine.  If you are coming on public transportation as part of one of the programs in our program booklet, contact us so we can arrange to pick you up. If you are coming as part of a group retreat or other event, please contact your event organizers to arrange pick up.

From Milwaukee Mitchell Airport
A number of rental car companies are located in the airport terminal. From the terminal, drive south on Howell Ave. to Hwy 100 (Ryan Rd).  Turn left (east) on Ryan Rd and continue straight until the road deadends at Hwy 32. Turn right (south) and continue on Hwy 32 into Racine to 4 Mile Rd. Turn left (east) on 4 Mile, continue to Erie St. Turn left (north) on Erie St. until you see the Siena on the Lake sign.  Turn right (east) into Siena Center.  Follow the drive to the right and continue around to the back parking lot where you will see the entrance to the Retreat Center.

Wisconsin Coach Lines buses leave throughout the day from Mitchell Airport to Racine.  Take the Racine-Kenosha bus (pink placard in the window). Pay on the bus (about $2.50). Ask to be dropped at 4-Mile Road in Racine.  This is 4 Mile Rd and Douglas Ave, less than 2mi from the retreat center.  Let us know well in advance when you will be coming so we can pick you up. You might want to also call us on your cell phone as you are leaving the airport- 262-898-2590. View schedule information on the CoachUSA website.  [Do not take the bus that goes to O'Hare. It does stop in Racine but far from the Retreat Center and it costs much more.]

There is also a shuttle which will take you from the airport directly to Siena Retreat Center. You can schedule the shuttle and see pricing information on the Go Airport Connection website. This is most economical if there is a small group of people coming together. For a single individual, you may wish to call Uber or Lyft.

From Chicago O'Hare or Midway
A number of rental car companies are located in the airport terminal.  Follow the directions below for coming from Chicago.

Take the CoachUSA- Wisconsin Coachlines to Racine- Hwy 20- The Iron Skillet.  Visit the CoachUSA website for schedule information from O'Hare. Let us know if you want a ride from the Iron Skillet; there is a charge for this to cover mileage. Alternatively, you can go to Milwaukee, and take the Racine/Kenosha shuttle to Racine Tire (see above). From Midway, you have to take a bus or shuttle first to O'Hare, and then on to Racine.

Coming by train
Take Amtrak to the station in SturtevantWI.  If you are coming for one of the Siena Retreat Center- sponsored retreats, please call beforehand, we may be able to pick you up. Otherwise, contact the leaders of your group about pick-up. If you need a ride from the station, please let us know as soon as you can; there will be a charge to cover mileage.
