Overview

Description
Advent begins with Mary’s powerful “Fiat,” her Yes to the Mystery of new life within her even in the winter of her people’s uncertainty and oppression. With faith and courage, she opened herself, as we also open ourselves in our challenging times. In this day of reflection together, let us contemplate her spirit and ours. May we say Yes to birthing newness in our personal lives, and to sending the Divine-human energies of goodness, truth, and beauty across the world.  Emmanuel, God with us.
