Making Mosaics from Our Broken Pieces

Saturday, February 21, 2026; 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Facilitator(s): Miriam Brown, OP

Overview

Description
Mosaic-making takes broken pieces and forms them into something new and blessed. That was surely the work of the followers of Jesus after his cruel death. We all have some broken pieces in our lives that we yearn to be transformed—a grief or personal loss, an unexpected shift in circumstances, splinters in our faith or hope, cries from the hurting earth, a brokenness in society, whatever leaves us yearning for healing and wholeness. In this retreat we will enter the mystery of holding symbolic pieces of our lives and times and form them into new designs, held in the Divine Love that “makes all things new.”
