Description
Many of us find ourselves supporting others during difficult times. This may include clients, friends, neighbors and family members. Serving in this role can be very rewarding as well as draining. It can take a toll on us emotionally and physically. As a professional or volunteer caregiver, we too find ourselves enduring life’s struggles and challenges. Finding balance and harmony in our personal and professional lives is critical in preserving our effectiveness and overall well-being.
This workshop will explore ways we can build our capacity so we can not only show up for others but also ourselves. We will focus on identifying values and core beliefs that influence our self-care habits. This will guide us to compose our own, personalized sustainable self-care blueprint.
