Overview

Description
We are living through massive shifts globally and locally. People today are connected technologically like never before, yet our very awareness of that interconnectedness is compromised by algorithms that divide and isolate us. The human family has made great strides in pluralism, peace, and healthy living, yet wars and the rise of the ultra-wealthy seem poised to shift the balance of power toward autocracy.

Living in this moment in time takes courage. It also takes community. Join us for a morning of coffee (or tea) and facilitated conversation. Participants may register for either or both sessions.

Sunday, June 22, 2025: Listening
The theme of this gathering will be “listening.” What voices have shaped your understanding of society and its resources? What voices do you seek out to inform you, to stretch you? How do we listen deeply to what comes our way, whether we find it agreeable or challenging? How can the practice of listening unite and connect us?

10:15am Gathering
10:30-11:30am Reflection and facilitated group discussion

Sunday, August 3, 2025: Challenges and Opportunities
Every challenge also provides an opportunity. The challenges to democracy, to the most vulnerable within society, and to our planet seem endless. And, yet, so are the opportunities. Let’s gather to dream of the possibilities that can arise from today’s challenges.

10:15am Gathering
10:30-11:30am Reflection and facilitated group discussion

This event is offered free of charge. Freewill offerings are gratefully accepted.
