Description
Meaningful connections with others is an important component of spiritual growth. In this cohort-based six-session series, a team of leaders will guide participants in deeper exploration of topics with contemporary spirituality.

Topics include:

  • Spirituality
  • The Universe Story
  • The God Story
  • Life Transitions and Transformation
  • Global Justice
  • Invitations to Love

Format
The format of the day will include opening and closing prayer, presentations from guest presenters, time for personal reflection, and small and large group sharing.
To make this a deep and rich experience, participants are asked to:

  • Commit to attending all 6 sessions
  • Complete required readings which will include one book prior to the program’s start and various articles given throughout the program in preparation for specific topics
  • Receive monthly spiritual guidance sessions in June, July, and August. (We can assist you in finding a spiritual guide. You will pay the guide directly – around $50/session – and is not included in the cost of the program.)
  • Keep a journal for the duration of the program
  • Create practices, rituals, or habits for yourself that will complement your learnings and create opportunities for your own inner awareness and transformation (ex: walks in nature, quiet time/mediation, centering prayer, social justice outreach)
  • Complete a 2-3 page reflection paper at the end of the program
