Overview

What does loving our neighbor mean in our day? This five-week series led by author and ethicist Dr. Reggie Williams will articulate the connection between the way of Jesus and justice. The series encourages participants to live faithfully into the commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves.

This session will focus on Howard Thurman, theologian and mystic.

Join us for the whole series or as many sessions as your schedule allows.

Dr. Reggie Williams is Professor of Christian Ethics at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Dr. Willams' research interests include Christological ethics, theological anthropology, Christian social ethics, the Harlem Renaissance, race, politics and black church life. He is author of numerous articles and books, including Bonhoeffer and the Harlem Renaissance, and editor of the book, The Way of Jesus and Justice.
