Prayer: "The Only Language We Know"

Daniel Berrigan, SJ, when asked what sustained him in his decades of radical peace activism and hospice ministry, answered community and faith, “the only language I know.”  We who have faith in our bones, and whose spiritual understanding has been evolving through the years, may be surprised to realize that “the only language we know” is Prayer.

This is a day to become more aware of the richness and discernment of our inner conversations and that, in fact, we are “praying always.”  We live within the ever-listening Divine love, in a cosmic world filled with grace, surrounded by people of goodness and beauty.  We face great suffering, are pushed into leaps of faith, take care of those we love, participate in making the world a more just place.  All in God, all in prayer.

Come for an inner-life exploration.  Notice the prayer that “rises like incense” in every minute of your day.
