Poetry for the Soul: Treasures for the Spirit

Poetry, though written “slant” as Emily Dickinson says, is about human truth and our soul’s spirit.  It expresses in rhythm and image the highs and lows, complexities and intimacies of our radiant quests.  Poets, above all, know that we live in miracle and mystery.  As we listen and savor, we will be diving deep to touch life’s treasures.

Poems will be selected to deepen and inspire. Some poets you will recognize, others not, but their gift is to lift up the wonder, pain, and breadth of our world’s call and sensitivity.

If you would like, you may bring a special poem that is meaningful to you and we can sprinkle them throughout the day.
