Institute for Spiritual Guidance: Group Spiritual Guidance Methods

Group spiritual guidance is a process in which the spiritual guide and small group members help provide a safe listening presence and engage the seeker helping them to notice and share what is surfacing in their life.

This workshop will offer methods and techniques that can be used in this kind of group setting. Workshop participants will have an opportunity to practice some of the models presented.

Cost of $375 Includes $60 non-refundable deposit, programs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, evening program on Thursday, overnight accommodations on Thursday and Friday nights, and from the mid-day meal on Thursday through the mid-day meal on Saturday.

Institute for Spiritual Guidance: Group Spiritual Guidance Methods

Participants may register for any parts of the Institute for Spiritual Guidance.
Deposits can be paid online at time of registration, by mailing a check made out to Siena Retreat Center, or by calling the front desk at 262-898-2590 to pay with a credit card. Deposits must be received to complete registration. 

Co-leader Kathie Tilot is a retreat leader, spiritual guide, wife, mother and grandmother. She holds a master’s degree in theology from St. Norbert College and is a graduate of Siena Retreat Center’s Spiritual Guidance Training and Supervision programs. Kathie coordinates spiritual direction and public relations at the Norbertine Center for Spirituality at St. Norbert Abbey in DePere, Wisconsin. Kathie also has professional experience in parish ministry and chaplaincy.

Co-leader Cindy Ulrich is a retreat leader and spiritual director who received her training from the Spiritual Guidance Training Program at Siena Retreat Center. Cindy is a music educator for young children as well as a spiritual director for young adults and community members at the Sheil Catholic Center at Northwestern University. She companions those who desire to notice and respond to the inner movements of Spirit in their everyday lives.
