Through story, song and interactive dialogue, this day will give you an immersive experience of history and spirituality in the Black Religious Experience.  Come join us for this day as we journey together in experiencing the gifts of Black Spirituality.

C. Vanessa White, MA,  chairs the Department of Spirituality and Pastoral Ministry and directs the Master of  Arts in Pastoral Ministry Program at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.  She is a national leader among Black Catholic theologians and organizes annual pilgrimages to the sites related to Rev. Augustus Tolton, the nation’s first Black Catholic priest.  Vanessa has published and collaborated on numerous articles and projects related to Black Catholic life and spirituality.  She is a retreat leader, workshop facilitator, and spiritual guide.
