Couples’ Retreat: Creating Connection with Your Partner

Listening, confronting conflict, being vulnerable, sharing our deepest fears and longings: why is it so difficult for us to share our hearts with our partners? Much of the disconnect we experience in our relationships can be traced to the need for improved communication skills.

At this retreat you will learn not only the value of listening but also how to listen. You will learn not only the importance of sharing from your heart but how to speak in a way that allows your partner to hear you.

This retreat experience will be an opportunity to practice listening skills that will help you to accompany each other with empathy and honesty. Come learn. Come practice. Get connected and leave with the skills to stay connected through whatever life brings your way.

Friday, July 9, to Saturday, July 10, 2021
The retreat starts at 6:30pm on Friday and concludes at 3:30pm on Saturday.
Cost of $245 per couple includes $55 non-refundable deposit, overnight accommodations, and meals.

Willie and Betsy Gonwa have been teaching communication skills and mentoring married couples for the past 15 years. They have conducted workshops in multigenerational settings. The skills they share with others are what they have learned on their own journey from discord to a relationship of deep connection. They share that, “as a couple we have turned our differences into opportunities for learning and growth. You can too!”
