Contemplative Yoga Retreat for Women

This retreat has been cancelled.

Join other women for a day to nourish yourself in mind, body, feelings, and spirit through talks, group discussion, time for self-reflection, and Contemplative Yoga.

Contemplative Yoga weaves together gentle yoga poses, affirmations, and guided meditation with a focus on spiritual well-being. Through this practice, participants will be invited to relax the body and calm the mind so that they can observe and reflect upon what is going on inside of themselves and create space to become more deeply aware of and connect with the presence of God. The talks and reflection questions will incorporate wisdom from various faith traditions, spiritualities, and contemporary women’s theologies.

Contemplative Yoga may be done in a chair. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat. You may wish to bring a journal for the reflection time.
