Asian Spirituality

This retreat has been cancelled.

This day will explore Asian spirituality which is grounded in the "both/and" dynamic of life.

The Tao symbol expresses the yin/yang energies of life that are interrelated.  This day will explore Asian spirituality which is grounded in this both/and dynamic of life giving energy through simple meditation practices (breathing, walking, movement, paper crane folding) which connect us to our sense of inter-being (Thich Nhat Hanh).  A simple shared reflection on our life stories carried symbolically within our names will also reveal our interrelatedness and capacity for compassion.
