Ash Wednesday Day of Reflection

Walking the Lenten Labyrinth

Labyrinths are patterned walking paths used by many different religious traditions for spiritual centering, contemplation, and prayer. Unlike a maze, labyrinths have no dead ends but are always leading toward a goal.

As we begin to walk our annual Lenten path that leads to Easter, this day of reflection will invite participants to reflect on the wisdom of the labyrinth as a guide for our journey.

The day will conclude with a labyrinth walking experience accompanied by a chorus of singing bowls played by Kathryn Rambo and friends, culminating in the tradition of being marked with ashes.
