Pope Francis’ 2015 Encyclical Laudato Si’:   On Care for our Common Home has given the human family a deeper understanding of how faith calls us to care for our common home and how our action is needed now in a unique and urgent way.

We will explore how the many aspects of our lives are intimately integrated and how personally and communally we can live each day the message of this universally appealing document.

From an early age Joe Meyer has had two passions in his life, his Catholic faith and a love for ecology.  He has taught environmental education in National Parks across the country and has been in science education for over a decade.  Joe holds a master’s degree in science education and currently teaches at Marquette University High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He also serves as Executive Director of the Laudato Si’ Project, a non-profit he founded in 2016.
