Slavic Spirituality (Indigenous Spirituality series)

“The soul of Poland is indestructible. She will rise again like a rock, which may for a spell be submerged by a tidal wave, but which remains a rock. ”

- Sir Winston Churchill

The seasons of the Slavic calendar offer profound wisdom for our lives.  Whether our genetic memory includes an East-Central European heritage or we are simply interested in other cultures, this day will explore how we can draw on Slavic spirituality for inspiration for our own lives.

Through rich symbolism, presentation, facilitated group sharing, and silent reflection time, this day will include an overview of Slavic spiritualty and reflection on the year’s solstices and equinoxes and the feasts and fasts in between.
